Writer
The writer is someone who practices the art of screenwriting, this includes the script, the members, key points, directions etc. In my opinion this is probably the most important role because if the script is crap you're 1, not going to get A list stars as they don't like he script and 2, the film wont make money as it will be absolutely awful. Screenwriters can write for films, TV shows, comics or video games.
Producer
The film producer is the person who's role is to find the idea for a film, for example a book, novel etc and turn it into a viable film. They hire the director, choose cast, oversee production, and post production, they mastermind he marketing to ensure the films success.
casting director
this person is in charge of assigning roles in the films an finding cast members, this is pivotal as if the film has no decent actors or well known actors it is hard to market.
director
this role is the person who directs how the film is made and is there whilst main scenes are filmed.
film finance

controls the finance of the films production seeing how much they can spend on what and determines weather the film will make a profit or not.
Camera operator
the person who operates the cameras during filming.
editor
the person who edits the film and makes it what it is after filming has finished.
production designer
responsible for the visual concept of the film, camera angles, costumes, make up, lighting etc.
Marketing
this person is in charge of how the film is marketed and how much money it can generate through marketing.
exhibition
how the film is shown in cinemas,making sure the film is in a cinema, how many screens its shown on, how much tickets are etc.
casting director
